My estate agency career started in 1987, later joining Linay & Shipp in 1996. As the owner I am involved in all aspects of the business, with development sites being my particular area of expertise. With a firm understanding of the whole process from planning to delivery I have been involved in the development of a number of new home sites built in the area over the last 20 years. What I love about Orpington is its wonderful range of facilities, with great schools, excellent transport links, beautiful countryside and lots of leisure facilities. The best part of my work is the personal contact, whether it's revisiting old clients and helping with their second or third moves or in meeting people for the first time. Away from the office my priority is spending time with my wife and 2 sons. I love sports and enjoy getting out on the golf course when time allows. I am also a long suffering Welling United fan!
With a career in the property industry spanning more than 20 years I have worked across Orpington, London and the home counties, experiencing many different market conditions and a fast changing digital world. As a partner my role is to ensure we continue to offer the high level of service that our reputation is founded upon and to incorporate new technology and working practises that will be of benefit to our clients.
As well as being involved in the day to day business I also oversee and implement our marketing, social media and business development strategies.
Passionate about property, I am also a qualified interior designer and enjoy upcyling furniture in my spare time. I am a big fan of food & drink and enjoy socialising, travel and spending time with family and friends.
I have worked for Linay & Shipp for 32 years, joining straight from school after completing my business studies course. As the office manager I am responsible for overseeing the marketing process and progressing sales through to a successful completion. The process of buying and selling properties can be extremely challenging, but also very interesting, which Is probably why I have worked here for so long! The best part of the job for me is helping people find their dream home and to see the excitement when they pick up their keys – it makes the whole process so worthwhile. In my down time I enjoy keeping fit, belonging to a local gym and also getting outside in the fresh air for power-walking. During the summer evenings and weekends, I enjoy gardening and generally maintaining my home.
My background has always been in the financial sector, however, I have always had a passion for property! I am a local Mum to two teenage children and so I am very aware of the importance of catchment areas for the great schools we have locally. I have lived in Petts Wood for over 20 years and have a good knowledge of the surrounding areas. I believe that work should feel rewarding and there is nothing more so for me when I find my clients their dream home. I love to laugh and my favourite kind of evening is to visit a comedy club. I enjoy eating out and try to holiday as often as finances allow. I look forward to meeting you soon!
